Additional COVID-19 Office Policy Updates (including telemedicine!):

In our ongoing attempts to best serve our patients while also mitigating potential exposures to COVID-19 during this current climate, we wanted to provide some further updates. Please review the most recent website blog post from last week for additional information. We continue to be open and available, with essential well child visits scheduled in the mornings and sick/urgent visits exclusively in the afternoons.

A significant update for this coming week is that we will be introducing the possibility of telemedicine visits. These will occur through an online platform called doxy.me, which will allow for a videoconference visit directly with one of our physicians for appointments in which a direct physical exam may not be as vital. This will help to further reduce traffic and potential exposures within the office. If you are interesting in scheduling a visit please call. We appreciate your patience as we work through any kinks as this will be our first experience with telemedicine in the office.

Please remember to call the office prior to entering if you or your child are experiencing fever or respiratory symptoms. We also ask that you please not bring additional children/family members along when accompanying your child for his/her office visit to limit unnecessary exposures. Finally, for our safety and yours, all staff members will be in masks during office visits and in certain situations will be using additional protective equipment such as gloves, gowns, and eye shields. Feel free to call through at any time if you have further questions regarding any of these policies.

Stay safe!
