Update Letter from Dr. Falguni Acharya

Dearest Patients and Families,

It is with great sadness that I write to inform you of an unexpected change in my professional life.

Due to a medical condition that requires ongoing attention and treatment, I will be taking an extended leave of absence from the practice. This decision was not made lightly, and it comes at a time when I wish I could continue to provide the care and support that your child(ren) deserve.

Please know that my commitment to your child(ren)’s health and well-being has always been my utmost priority. It has been a privilege to watch your child(ren) grow, thrive, and overcome challenges. The trust and relationships we have built over the years mean the world to me. It has honestly been my greatest honor that you have allowed me to be a part of your and your child(ren)’s lives.

I am lucky enough to work in a practice where I have amazing colleagues who, I know, will take good care of you in my absence. The staff and medical team you are familiar with will also be there to support you and address any concerns you may have. The knowledge that you will be in such capable hands is the one thing making this decision somewhat easier.

I understand that this news may bring about some uncertainty, but please rest assured that your child(ren)’s health and continuity of care are in good hands. Should you have any questions or need assistance, do not hesitate to reach out to the office.

I am optimistic about my recovery and look forward to returning to practice as soon as I am able. In the meantime, I will keep you all in my thoughts and continue to hope for the best for each and every one of my patients.

Thank you for your understanding, patience, and continued trust during this challenging time. I am confident that, together, we will navigate through this period with the same strength and resilience that I have always admired in each of you.

With heartfelt gratitude,

Falguni Acharya, MD FAAP
